Xanadú was the summer capital of Mongolian Empire "Kubla Khan". It inspired the poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge Kubla Kahn, describing Shangdu. Based on that description, "Xanadú" often is used as a metaphor for opulence, mystery and luxury or an idyllic place.

We want to incorporate that feel of mystery and luxury through the lighting and textures of the house. The fusion of that concept with a Tiki aesthetic that is more relaxed and organic gives us the perfect combination for an ideal beach house.
